Frequently Asked Questions
Here's the answers
Got questions about how we work, what we build, or what to expect? You’re not alone — here are some of the most common things we’re asked.

What kind of projects do you take on?

We specialise in custom e-commerce platforms, web applications, and internal tools — usually built with Laravel. We often work on new builds, rebuilds, or long-term support of existing systems.

Do you work with non-technical teams?

Yes. Many of our clients come from design, marketing, or operations backgrounds. We pride ourselves on making technical decisions accessible and collaborative.

Do you only use Laravel?

Laravel is our main backend framework, but we also use Vue, Inertia, Tailwind, Meilisearch, and other modern tools. For e-commerce, we often use our own open-source platform, Lunar.

How much do your projects cost?

Most projects start from around £10k–£15k and go up depending on scope, integrations, and timeline. We’re always happy to talk budget early and give ballpark figures.

Can we work with you on an ongoing basis?

Absolutely. Many of our clients stay with us for long-term retainers or technical partnership. We can offer continuous development, support, and performance improvements month to month.

Can you take over an existing Laravel project?

Yes — we often work on existing codebases. We’ll usually start with a short audit to understand the current setup, then agree on next steps together.

How long do projects usually take?

Most builds take between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on complexity. We’ll work with you to prioritise features and deliver in meaningful stages.

Will we own the code?

Yes — you fully own the code we build for you. We typically deliver via GitHub or GitLab, and we’re happy to work within your existing repo or version control system.

What if we’re not sure about using open source?

We’re happy to explain the pros and cons — but in most cases, open source tools give you more control and flexibility. We never lock you into proprietary systems or hidden dependencies.

Can you work alongside our existing team or agency?

Definitely. We regularly collaborate with in-house developers, product teams, and design or branding agencies. We're comfortable integrating into your workflow and respecting existing roles.

Do you work internationally?

Yes — we work with clients across the UK and Europe. While we’re based in the UK, we’re used to working remotely with teams across time zones.

What’s the best way to get started?

Just get in touch. We’ll book a quick call to hear about your project and see if we’re a good fit. No pressure, no sales scripts — just a conversation.

Still Have Questions?

We're happy to talk through anything you're unsure about — just drop us a message or book a call.
